I’m from the remote island of Shetland, but I am now living on Mainland Scotland near Glasgow.
After I left the Anderson High School in Lerwick, I went to the local college to study a NC in Art and Design. Through this course we did a weaving module, and this was where my interest with textiles started.
I then went on to complete a BA in Contemporary Textiles at the University of Highlands and Islands Shetland campus, and progressed on to finish my honours year at Heriot Watt University, in the Scottish Borders, where I specialised in woven textiles.
I then progressed on to Glasgow School of Art where I studied my Masters in Fashion and Textiles and finished in September 2015.
I have a love for all things textile related, yarn wraps, geometric shapes and my home up north in the Shetland Isles for its beautiful surroundings, uniqueness and small community vibes.

Or contact me by email or social media; I would love to hear from you!
